Clients have three choices in fitting locations:
1. At our fitting studio in Southwest Portland.
1. At one of our Dress partner locations. Message us for the most updated list.
2. At the clients residence. The seamstress will do the pinning in the comfort of your own home! For travel expenses, this option has a $50 appointment booking fee.
**Clients wanting to host an alterations viewing party of over 5 members are encouraged to request to have a second seamstress from us. We recommend for clients to start reaching out to a seamstress about 4 months before your wedding day. Most seamstress will likely see you between 10-6 weeks before your event. We currently have a 3 week turn around between fittings, but some projects can be done sooner with rush fee payment. The number of fittings varies based on the project. Your seamstress will create an action plan with you at the first fitting.
The cost of bridal alterations at Tailored Together will vary depending on the type of alterations needed and design of the dress. Typically, alterations range from $300-600.

Yes you do! Some of our competitors pair you with any seamstress on shift during your appointment time. Having a new face and having to reexplain your vision multiple times. We have you working one on one with the same seamstress the entire time (*unless the client requests to switch). This way the same seamstress intimately knows about your dress start to finish, and the fittings appointments get more comfortable with each visit!

Before we accept new clients, we provide information about services we offer and have a short project questionnaire completed via phone or email. During this time clients can share any information on the project and even personal concerns, or sensitivities. We will be honest with you on if Tailored Together is a good choice for both parties!
As per industry standard, we do not offer refunds on alterations services. See our policies in full length at the bottom of the page with the link titled “Terms and policies”
Tips are never expected but always appreciated! In the U.S. it’s social practice to tip any professional providing a one on one service to an individual. The tip is usually a combined reflection of customer satisfaction and a percentage of the total bill. Although never required, a monetary tip is a way for the client to thank their individual seamstress for the customer service and results they received.
